Turku University of Applied Sciences welcomes you to attend a free 2-day seminar about music in healthcare.

The seminar will:
• present the experience, learning and results from the EC funded ‘Music in Healthcare Settings: Training Trainers project’ (Leonardo Transfer of Innovation) in the UK, France and Finland
• introduce Institute Musique & Sante and its role and place in the Transfer of Innovation
• present the Development of music work in hospitals and elderly care settings in Turku
• introduce other art based methods used in health promotion by MIMO project
• present the theses done in different health care settings
• present how music effects on brain and for medical rehabilitation
• offer opportunity to participate in practical workshops in music
