<p>In the framework of the inter-ministerial programme « <strong>Culture in hospital</strong> », the <a href="pagesgb/contact.php">organisation</a> Musique et Santé , directed by Philippe Bouteloup, leads artistic activities in hospitals and in settings for the handicapped, for children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. </p>
<p>Musique et Santé's main areas of work are: the creation of musical <a href="pagesgb/action_philosophie.php">workshops</a> by professional musicians, the professional <a href="pagesgb/formation_objectifs.php">training</a> of hospital staff and artists, the research and <a href="pagesgb/reflexion_objectifs.php">reflection</a> on the role of music in medical environment, the <a href="pagesgb/mediation_contexte.php">interaction</a> between musicians, hospitals, and other institutions. Musique et Santé works in neonatology, paediatrics, paedopsychiatry, geriatrics, and in settings for the handicapped, in France and in <a href="pagesgb/europe_contexte.php">Europe</a>. It has for partners the organisations Arts for Health (United Kingdom) and Waterford Healing Arts Trust (Ireland). </p>
<p> <strong>Music in hospital</strong> participates in the relational care of hospitalised persons. </p>
<p>Musique et Santé has for patrons Steve Waring, Jean-Jacques Milteau, and Dédé Saint-Prix, musicians, and Pr Marcel Rufo, paedopsychiatrist. </p>
