The RNCM is one of the world's leading music conservatoires, with an international reputation for its rigorous and inspiring training from a faculty of international performers, academics and music educationalists. Alongside our work training the very best young musicians, we have an extensive programme of activities dedicated to embedding music in our local community and creating opportunities for engaging with musical performance.

The RNCM offers a comprehensive programme of options to prepare its students for careers in music, including an option in Music for Health, currently delivered at undergraduate and postgraduate level by two training officers in partnership with a broad range of local health and social care partners. They are also developing Continuing Professional Development courses in Music for Health for professional musicians in the UK wishing to undertake work in the health and social care sectors.

Music Network
Ireland

Music Network is a professional arts organisation, funded by The Arts Council of Ireland. Established in 1986, the organisation aims to provide access to high-quality live music to everyone in Ireland regardless of location or circumstance while supporting the career development of professional musicians. Music Network’s Professional Development Programmes provide professional resources and materials to musicians working in a range of community settings including healthcare.

Turku University of Applied Sciences

TUAS is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education that offers competitive qualifications for international career in Arts Academy, Health Care, Life Sciences and Business, Technology, Environment and Business, Telecommunication and e-Business and Well-being Services. There are ca 9000 students in Bachelor's and Master's degree. Continuing education is provided to 5500 students annually. The results of applied R&D collaboration ensure current teaching and best practices from working life. The Arts Academy has 600 students in the Bachelor's degree programmes and has ca. 80 full-time teachers. There are four degree programmes: Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts and Media Arts.
The faculty of Health Care has 1900 students in the Bachelor's degree programmes and in a Master's Degree programme under the supervision of 130 experts educating Emergency Care Nurses, Midwives, Nurses, Public Health Nurses, Dental Hygienists and Medical Laboratory Technologists.
